What to expect

Food

Local people and vendors from throughout the Queenstown community come together to share delicious traditional food. It might be noodles made in a Chinese style, or an Indian curry - you will be impressed with the amount of food available.

Be sure to bring your own plate and cutlery to help support our sustainability initiatives. There will be plates and cutlery available to rent on the day.

Workshops

Family fun around every corner. Get ready to be inspired and get creative with many engaging workshops and activities. From arts and crafts to calligraphy, photo booths to hook-a-duck, the whole family is sure to be enthralled.

Activities and workshops are hosted by local community members who are eager to share their culture with you. You may even be able to bring home more then just memories, but also new skills and appreciations.


Performances

A jammed packed performance schedule is planned for the day. Be sure to check the timings when you arrive, these performances are not to be missed!

Musical, arts, culture and sport- some performances you may even be able to participate in, if you are lucky.

 

Music

Enjoy traditional music throughout the day with unique performances from professionals and novices alike.  

 Raffle

Tickets will be sold throughout the day, with all funds raised going towards next years Multicultural Festival. So bring along your pocket money and arrive early to make sure your lucky numbers are still available. Check out our sponsors page to see what prizes might be instore.
