Event Background & Objective
The Queenstown Multicultural Festival (QMF) celebrates our community's rich cultural diversity and aligns with the UN International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. Now in its fourth year, QMF aims to promote cross-cultural understanding, foster community engagement, and create an inclusive space for all to connect.
What We're Looking For:
We are seeking performances that showcase a specific cultural tradition through music, dance, or a related art form. Priority is given to acts that:

Demonstrate cultural authenticity.

Feature traditional costume.

Contribute to our theme of cultural unity and connection.
Key Logistics:

Stage: 10m (length) x 6m (width).

Performance Length: Please specify the exact total length of your performance (e.g., 3-4 minutes for one song). If performing multiple pieces, list each with its timing. Collaborative acts are highly encouraged.

Flexibility: Please indicate if you are open to your performance being scheduled in multiple time slots (e.g., morning and afternoon) to help us accommodate more acts.

Audio: All audio files must be submitted by 20 March 2026 and labelled clearly with your name and performance title.

Facilities: A changing area and limited loading zone parking (with prior notice) will be provided.

Attendance at the mandatory rehearsal on 20 March 2026 is required for all performers.
