Code of Conduct

The Queenstown Multicultural Festival's Code of Conduct is built upon the core objective of celebrating and promoting the diversity of cultures, ethnicities, and traditions within our community. It is supported by a set of shared values and serves as a guiding framework for our expected behaviour and actions. This includes the importance of Speaking Up if we encounter any situations that go against the Code or our values.

Understanding, embracing, and embodying the Code is integral to both our collective identity as a community and our individual roles within it. It defines what we stand for and underscores the significance of our ethical responsibilities. Whether we are collaborating with event management, community leaders, third-party suppliers, or any other stakeholders, it is crucial that we remain conscientious in upholding these ethical standards.

"Our cultural differences are a source of unity and strength, enriching our lives and empowering us to build a brighter, more connected future for all."

At the Queenstown Multicultural Festival, we're committed to creating a culture of respect, transparency, and inclusivity. We believe that by following this Code of Conduct, we can work together to achieve our goals and support our community in the best possible way.

To that end, we ask all members of our community to adhere to the following principles:

By following this Code of Conduct, we can create a positive and productive environment that supports our mission and benefits our community. Let's work together to create a better future for everyone.
